Finding Hidden Glasgow made me realise there were other like-minded souls out there addicted to all those grubby and neglected bits of this city.

A great big hug to Sharon for her enthusiasm and general marvellousness!

Let it Die!

DEAD MODERNISM The journey to this quietly crumbling ‘retreat’ begins to take on all the trappings of a Holy Quest! By train to the small, Clydeside village of Cardross, then up to the local post office to ask directions. Various muddy tracks and a dangerous manoeuver between two golf courses brings...

"Harness Those Seething Energies Brethren!" As they say down the Lodge. You've got to admit there are one or two interesting details in there... Hess did manage to land right next to Montgomery's house, not bad for an allegedly crap pilot? And the Big A is real enough whatever it means. And both Mon...

Sorry Fossy, might have guessed you'd get there before me! More: Montgomery and Polnoon Streets form an 'A', with Orry St (I think its called) running between the two. This apparently signifies the A in Alexander, but is likely to allude to the word 'Abbadon', a sacred (and forbidden) utterance amon...

There is nothing simple about this one. The Earl of Eglinton (Alexander Montgomery) was, like the Duke of Hamilton, a 33 degree Mason and a member of the Golden Dawn. Its interesting how Hess 'got lost' enough to land at Floors farm, just across the road from Eaglesham House (or Polnoon Lodge)...abo...

Of course there are also rumours abounding in the 'esoteric community' as to the 'real' site and nature of the Grail. Look closely at a detailed map of Eaglesham for some pointers...

Hess got lost. He was on his way to Rosslyn Chapel to nick the Holy Grail. Heard he was held, not in the Post Office but in the Masonic Halls in Eaglesham... And lets not get started on the Duke of Hamilton.
