It turns out that "Sir Roger" the big stuffed elephant in the Kelvingrove was a resident at EH Bostocks Scottish Zoo, and toured around scotland with Bostock & Wombwells travelling menagerie. Does anyone know if there are any photos of this menagerie?...or of Sir Roger when he was alive? Sharon

HAMPDEN PARK

I have just added are some photographs of "Scotlands Field of Dreams"...and i watched the game last night, dreaming is all we can do it seems!!!

The photos were taken by Iain during the rebuilding of Hampden.

Wow! Now that is cool...in which case what do you know about the Royal Observer Corp bunker, it can be found between "the 50 pitches" and Luma Towers in Glasgow...someone pointed me to it, but i couldn't find any information about it ;o(

It was apparently used in TV ads at one point.
