Re: World War Z

The movie is having loads of post-production problems. Its on it 3rd release date. Reshoots of major scenes etc. And apparently most of the Glasgow footage is unusable.

Re: tv series, clydebank, messiah, 1990s?

I remember this, mentioned it to someone before and they said I was a nutter. The ending was in george square with a crucifixion type thing, not literally crucified but an allegory to it.

Re: Empire sign (Tontine Lane)

Just a guess, but it may be hooked up to streetlighting and go on and off with that.

Re: the glasgow show

Last time i went, they had Darius (numpty from pop idol) and a godawful Michael Jackson tribute act. The funniest bit was the cardboard gravestones when they did thriller.

Re: Toll Houses

There is a couple of paving stones with stuff engraved on it just along from the Grand old opry at the crossing. tells you a little about the history of the toll. when it was built etc. Don't have a pic unfortunately.

Ayr Town Hall

Was over at Ayr town hall the other day and got a wee look in the old jail cells that are underneath it. Most interestingly, they use the cells for storage. They use one of them to keep old street signs of streets that no longer exist in the area. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/dickyhart/737...
