Does she look very odd? Like a small dwarf pixie? I'm sure she hangs about Duke Street too.

Re: Old tunnels, missing tracks, disused stations etc

Yeah, they've been working in that tunnel behind that pub at Celtic Park a lot the last few months.

Re: Aggressive Begging in Glasgow City Centre. Getting worse

Some wee guy who appeared to be wearing a black bin bag as a coat burst out on me from that lane where the Annie Miller's pub is off of Clyde Street. Asked for £6. Don't recall why he wanted it. Just wanted £6. Looked well wild. As usual, Police go by not bothering why this fucking loon is pointing ...

Re: Aggressive Begging in Glasgow City Centre. Getting worse

I suffer from mental health issues too. So everyone of these "false grabs" by the police sets my anxiety treatment back weeks. It does make me rather nervous when a policecar goes by. I've emailed the police about this. I'm not bothered about myself really. Some other people probably won't...

Re: Forth & Clyde Canal

It's good that they are doing something that will make this particular area less creepy to go to. Just a very odd and eery place to walk about.

Re: Aggressive Begging in Glasgow City Centre. Getting worse

Don't have a clue really. Typing on my phone and I hear "OWWW!!!!" behind me and its some police diving out his car to get me. Took my name and address. Asked me where I was going. If I had any problems with the law. I must have been stopped about eight times in two years. Stopped in the M...

Re: Aggressive Begging in Glasgow City Centre. Getting worse

Saw the guy who draws the pictures sitting outside MIssing Records under the Glasgow Central Umbrella today. Saw a rather unfortunately incident too. He was showing some guy his pictures, puts one on the ground to shake the guys hand, I assume, and a big bunch of guys just trampled all over his stuf...

Re: No-Go Areas in Glasgow. Serious ones.

Possil Loch has always been dodgy. Junkies all sitting on that wall beside the Lambhill Stables. Pretty nerve-wracking really when you need to walk past them.

Re: Dumbarton Rock - A Shanty Town?

You'd think Dumbarton FC wouldn't particularly like it either.

Dumbarton Rock - A Shanty Town?

What has happened to Dumbarton Rock? On the side facing the River Leven, there are a ton of manky looking caravans. People living in tents high up in the Rock too. People living in holes high up in the Rock as well. I personally witnessed today a bunch of people climbing down onto the banks of the L...

Re: Aggressive Begging in Glasgow City Centre. Getting worse

It's amazing how economically out of touch the beggars are. They still seem to think you can get a cup of tea or a bus ticket for 50p these days. Someone ought to tell them that it's 2013 and you'd be lucky if 50p buys a sachet of sugar! Yeah, I remember when they would be happy to get 10p out of y...

Tons more drug dealers in Glasgow City Centre too. Central Station is covered in them, supposedly.

Re: Aggressive Begging in Glasgow City Centre. Getting worse

Absolutely disgraceful that some of these pricks lay their hands on people. I'm not a violent bloke, but nobody is touching me. I blame the fact there are more nutters loose today rather than any cutbacks. When did these junkie bastards have a job? "Need Bus Fare" ones do my nut in too. Th...

Aggressive Begging in Glasgow City Centre. Getting worse?

Does anybody else think that the begging in Glasgow City Centre has went rather "over the score"? I hate the way the media try and blame the foreigners for causing the problems. I get more problems off the Scottish beggars than the foreign ones. Underneath the Heinesmann Umbrella (think th...
