My sister went to a poledancing class for 3 weeks before realising it was actually upstairs above a stripclub (I wouldn've thought that would be obvious) and that they were trying to groom them all into their new dancers!

Lennox Forest

What's the best way into it from the Lennoxtown side? As near as possible to Clachan of Campsie. I'm looking get through to the Milngavie side. I did it in the opposite direction yesterday but I emerged on a rough tiny path that I'd probably never find again. And even getting from there into Lennoxt...

Is it possible to see who's connected to your network? I'd be interested in leaving it open and logging any connections just to see. I live in a residential area though so I think it would be unlikely that anyone would connect.

I've not been to any trail centres yet. I don't drive so many of them are unreachable and I don't know anyone else who rides and travelling a far distance alone doesn't appeal too much. I've been planning on checking out Pollock for a while now and also once I've got a bit more fitness I think I'll ...

I'm the same - only use the roads to get too the off-road.
I'm a lonely rider though so tend to stick close to home - Mugdock, the West Highland Way and roundabout. What are the Cathkin Braes and Pollock like? Wondering if it'd be worth my while going to take a look.

Yeah someone on Freeshare will take it I'm sure. I've given away 2 bikes on it, one of them was to someone who fixes them up and sells them.

Late opening coffee shops

I know there's plenty around that are open til 11 o'clock, but anyone know of any that stay open even just an hour later?
I like the more relaxed atmosphere compared to a pub.

or this wee cracker http://preview.tinyurl.com/295paf It was the older model that I had, the S5i. Very pocketable - I carried around in an Altoids tin! In fact I should still have it. The 2 year warranty was less than a week out and I phoned the place I bought it from and they said as long as I get...

Any ultracompact recommendations? Unfortunately my Pentax apparantly died while out for my birthday last night. The lens is stuck half closed and the only signs of life are the power light. It's at a friend's house now so I haven't had a proper fiddle with it but it looks like a goner. Funnily enoug...

Tesco Argyll St

I heard this is closing down sometime soon. Apparantly they can't afford the rent increase! That reason seems a bit unlikely, but anyone heard anything else?
