Re: Glasgow Zoo

Cheers for the info guys.

Headed down there with two mates today. Really not much left. Only the gatehouse and aviary seem to stand.

Some photos I took here - excuse the random ones from around Glasgow Green.

Queen Margaret Union History Project - The Results

Many of you got in touch with memories, photos and generally awesome tips on finding people I needed to track down. The result is that i...

GCC Heritage Trail Guides

Hey guys, Not sure if anyone would be interested but I've been in contact with GCC about ordering bulk copies of some of the Heritage Guides that they produce for parks, areas and cemeteries. They told me of some of the upcoming ones I thought you might be interested in knowing are coming out. Curre...

Burberry in Glasgow

OK, I can't believe I am asking this and feel I have hit a new low. However one of my European mates is obsessed with Burberry and really wants some. Do any of you guys know where they can get some in Glasgow City Centre? Maybe they have aspirations to be a ned for Hallowe'en.

Gilbertfield Castle

Hey guys,

do any of you know if you can access the Gilbertfield Castle ruins or not? Are they on private ground or do they fall within the shooting range territory in Dechmont?

Thanks

Gary
