Cheers guys, I stand corrected. As you can probably guess i am more of a Ford man myself. I will be posting photos of some classic cars recently dumped in a scrappy myself. All of them beauties and none of them saveable :cry:

That is a cracking photo John. Is your Dad's car in the background a Vauxhall VX4/90 by any chance. If it is it was an absolute flying machine in its day.

The car two posts back is an Armstrong Siddeley. Possibly a model from the early 50's called a Sapphire in their day they were on a level pegging with Jags.

I have a degree of wariness of the Clutha. Coming out of the toilet in there one night a guy went to run by me....but he was too late and threw up over the back of my trousers !. He apoligised profusely and i ask you what could you do except be Zen about the experience.

I was there !. I can handle some pretty atonal stuff but these guys were just at it. I got some video clips on my phone just to prove to other people how bad it actually was. Yes i believe in experimentation and pushing the boundaries in every direction but this was just SHIT.

Sorry to see what happened BTJ. Worthwhile trying to get a sympathetic bodyshop that will do the full shebang at the same time. I knew a guy with a Capri in a similar predicament many years ago. His car went to the bodyshop with a nasty dent on the side and came back looking great ALL over :D

Volcanic Tongue is a bit of a place, it makes Monorail look like Woolworths !. Borders at "The Fort" had a nice eclectic sale on at "The Fort" a couple of weeks back. I got some lovely stuff :D
