Does Glasgow City Council operate a 'Heritage Trail' scheme?

I think it would be useful to have a guide/map showing places of interest that have the 'plaques' placed on them.

OKO at the very end of Ingram Street (High St end). All I can say is, 'Yummy, scrummy in my tummy'. They do a £15 buffet on a Sunday... yeah... Oh, I haven't been there in a while, but I think that it is still open. There is a new japanese place opening on West Regent Street, next to Bamboo, it's ca...

little new-rock shoes, with the soles falling off. Occasionally, I use a hot melt glue gun to re-attach my soles. I love those shoes.

Maybe a pair of black vans or ancient converse...comfy.

'I'll scweem and scweem till I'm sick!' No tweeness, just being in a minor collision and breaking the old collarbone. To that day, I don't think I had ever broken a bone in my body. Oh, and a rather bad concussion, being in hospital for nearly two days and my friends car being a fabulous write-off. ...

Aloha, If anyone is still interested in meeting up before the crimbo get-together, does 5.30pm - 6.00pm on 17/12 sound okay? Perhaps if the new Republic Bier place (formerly Ocho) is open, shall we go there...hmmm? Oh, and is there any particular meeting place that suits, i.e. next to some shop on S...

My father (now in his mid 60's) worked on part of the construction and finishing of the M8 at Glasgow. At the time, I think he and my mum were recently 'courting'. My dad (and most of the other workers) would have a nip around the finished sections or the motorway in their cars. My mum remembers a t...

Sooooo, is anyone working or will be in Glasgow on Dec 17th? If so, do you want to meet up beforehand?

I only ask this, as I think that we could fit in some 'Christmas Cheer' before dinner. Perhaps a few sherries and ales?

The Cellar in Paisley...isn't a cellar...

Every time I pass that pub there seems to be multiples of broken bar stools/chairs/tables lying outstide, surely that is a bad sign? Or merely poor workmanship?

But it's not a cellar... :?

When I was quite young-about 13-14 years ago. I can remember going down to Rosshall Park and having mini-adventures, dashing in and out of the rhodedendron bushes. We used to enter the park via a bridge over the cart from Bonnyholm (in Pollok). Near the entrance there was quite a tall fence and gate...
