Re: Squinty Bridge Closed

http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh189/cellcell_photos/scan.jpg Came across this pic from the Record at the weekend which shows the broken clevis, you can see the fracture is straight across the pin hole. There is very little deformation on 3 of the 4 sections which suggests that it was not a str...

Re: Shop Fronts

Pistons & Components http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh189/cellcell_photos/P3220051.jpg Doesn't look like this one will be around for much longer. It must be one of the oldest shop fronts on GWR. Am I right in thinking they used have two shops on GWR? I remember thinking it was a cool shop wh...

Re: Squinty Bridge Closed

I was hoping for some "inside" definitive council info, because they must have been told the actual reason, all you get on the engineering sites is lots of speculation. I suppose if it is a design or material supply issue there is going to be lots of money involved so people are going to b...

Re: Squinty Bridge Closed

Has any one got the true story on what happened here? I presume the council know otherwise they shouldn't let the repairs go ahead. I don't mean the evening times "a steel ring connecting the cable to the bridge arch snapped" pish but a proper engineering explanation, I see mention of them...

Re: Bricks

http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh189/cellcell_photos/P2080010.jpg I know the red version has been posted before, but I haven't seen the yellow one, so to complete the teams colours here it is. I came across this one on the site of the old Clyde's Mill power station out at Cambuslang Anyone have...

Re: Graffiti

http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh189/cellcell_photos/P2080010.jpg While not graffiti, I thought you might like to see this one, can you imagine the fun a thistle fan could have with a thistle brick! Is there a thread where you can post pictures of manufacturers plaques or plates (or even bricks...

Re: Graffiti

http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh189/cellcell_photos/P1120024.jpg This had to be recorded before someone painted over it or knocked it down. I always thought that a pot of paint and a brush beats your artistic spray can any day! Note the careful use of colour and even an apostrophe, a work of g...

Re: FAQ: Posting Tips

Thanks for your help Alex, I thought it would be something simple doh!
I used photobucket because I saw somewhere on here that they automatically resize the pictures to the required 800x600, but I'll have to have a closer look at that.
Regards

Re: FAQ: Posting Tips

I copied and pasted a direct link from photobucket, but on the post you have to click on the link to see the photo, how do you post a photo so you see in the post without having so click on? you'll guess I'm new to this!
Cheers

Re: Posting to these forums

Can't find an answer for this anywhere, is there an idiots guide to the dos and donts for posting pictures without using a "hosting" service such as flicker? Any rules on file sizes etc any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
