The Royal Scotsman was at Edinburgh today hauled by a 47 and sods law meant i couldnt get a shot of it as it was arriving as i was getting ready to depart

I travel by train a lot, both in Scotland and up and down to Manchester and always find the train staff helpful. Never can understand why the public feel the need to blame them for a late train or one that breaks down. Easy reply....its always our fault....but i love that show and the railway....th...

Yes, I see a 92 there most days. Makes sense that its for the sleeper, though I thought they had the 92s in Caledonian livery for those trains? Is that in the Motorail siding beside platform 7, if so its one of the sleeper trains, the platform is the motor rail (5/6) which are being re-instated for the waverley line

Mon-Fri over they 4 weeks and from the 8th trains run as normal, i hope that doesnt read as being all week I only care about Monday mornings and Thursday/Friday evenings. :-) Here, talking about Inverness - how come Kingussie is pronounced Kin-you-see anyway? Just to let anyone travelling on the 28th July and for the following 4 weekends and Mon 7th October Inverness services are a bus to Perth then train from Perth-Inverness Aargh! Just what I needed on a Monday morning at 7 a.m. Mon-Fri over they 4 weeks and from the 8th trains run as normal, i hope t...

Just to let anyone travelling on the 28th July and for the following 4 weekends and Mon 7th October there are alterations to train services, no trains are running via Stirling towards Perth/Dundee due to the station being closed for re-signalling and re-laying of lines. Seemingly they were taking bookings at 8.30am when the site opened/crashed at 9am.....wonder how many on it are NR relatives?

Only things i would say need to be altered is the trains every 15mins should be specified as being from Falkirk High as from Grhamston its hourly (and no service on a sun), also trains to Gleneagles, youd have to change at Stirling In this day and age.....better safe than sorry, that way she doesnt ...

the closure of Winchburgh Tunnel will happen for electrification, with trains via Falkirk High, detouring via Winchburgh Junction, to Dalmeny Down Passenger Loop, then crews changing ends and continuing to Haymarket via South Gyle. I would agree with boxer, possibly paid by the nhs?

My local chemist used to deliver my dads meds, but their delivery driver kept returning them saying noone was in, even though i mentioned he had mobility issues and would take a while to answer the intercom/door
