Re: Glasgow Parks

Rather strangely, was called to Peterson Park, Yoker/Knightswood on Saturday 11.6.16. It has been marked up as a shinty ground . A Glasgow/Argyll team were playing the English Shinty Association's traveling team. Fair play to the occasional mixed English Team from London / Devon / Cornwall against a...

Unusual names for WCS.

Previously, folks' names used to be pretty well defined - now it's a random scatter of Scrabble pieces reassembled as a call out for attention. There's rich pickings here if JK Rowling is struggling for some new ones to feature in any forthcoming make believe stuff... http://www.clydebankpost.co.uk/...

Re: Pillar Boxes

Was wondering if anyone has a list of positions of 'franked mail' pillar boxes round the city streets ?

Know of one at Houston Place & the one at St. Rollox Sorting Office (+ also Underwood Rd Paisley Sorting Office), but there must be others that I haven't noticed.

The other's li...
