I used to get sent by my work to deliver mail to places in the town and there was a place near Boots with a gated lift. but I think there were quite a few of them in the big buildings .Does anyone remember the Colosseum shop.. in Jamaica st...

Id say flats are newer build types, but the old late 1800s are all tenements... its described as a multi sub standard dwelling in the urban core.... but you canny call the posh wans up the Parade.. Partick, Dowanhill that...I think there is a big gap between slums and tenements..

Vermin is to light a word..... I thought I was taking a nervous breakdown it got so bad, my close was a cesspit, it reminded you of Fagans days in London it was so bad.. there wasnt a neighbour you could trust... my weans milk was stole on a permanent basis if I didnt meet the milk man early enough....
