Robert Owen House, Bath Street

I see that hoarding has been put up around the ground floor, the building is to be converted into student accommodation.

Think it was previously used by the Cooperative Insurance, and possibly a Job Centre in the 1990s.

Re: New Lidl's Houses and demolition

Re: One for the railway heads

I thought the plan was to use rebuilt and re-engined Class 73s to haul the Deerstalker? It is the plan to use rebuilt re-engined 73s, but changes to Euro Emission laws and subsequent modifications required to the engines, the locos won't be available until after Serco take over looking like late 20...

Re: Thatched cottages

There was a thatched pub in the Yoker area - located adjacent to the present day Lovat public house. It was known as Colin Robb's Inn after the proprietor, it lay derelict and was destroyed during the first night of the Clydebank blitz https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8313/8034154925_c92491460a_o.jpg ...

Re: george square accident

Not the time to speculating on rumours. The police have stated 6 killed, 5 females and one male.

Give their loved ones time to come to terms with what's happened.
