Agree totally with Vladimir. All we ever get now is glass and steel arranged for the functional use of the retail trade. With flats that are outwith the financial reach of most who work in the associated retail developments.

Neo-liberal gentrification gone mad.

Sad to hear about Whiteinch baths, I was taken there by my Dad for my first visit to a swimming pool in the late 50's. I actually learned to swim in Summerston Rd baths at Govan and used to go to Pollokshaw, Govanhill and Parkhead baths on a regular basis. They have all closed now and few remain sta...

I am sure most of us who are old enough to have been belted at school, would agree that belting children changes nothing, the weaker child is terrorised by its existance and the bolder ones will tell the teacher to fuck off anyway. Teaching children that violence is the way to get what you want only...

Missed the fight, I though I was one of the last ones out. Hope no one was hurt. Was it just some numpty mouthing off?

It was great to add a few faces to names and meet some of the gang I hadn't met before.

Representative democracy in Scotland, oh what a novel idea. Look at the Thatcher years, Scotland continuously voting against the torys and getting more of the Iron Lady, real democracy at work?

Why not consider the we canae support ourselves brigade, have a read hear Scottish Subsidies
