Re: CHCP news

I don't like the 'it's not my job' mentality :x What's wrong with that mentality? Most (if not all) professional job these days have a role profile that defines the general and specific duties/responsibilities of the position and the working hours/pay that come with it - the role profile is effecti...

Re: CHCP news

It didn't sound to me like Lord was really trying to stretch himself in the job after 20 years to protect kids. I was thinki...

Re: CHCP news

20 years training? How long does it take to train to be a nurse these days? I must say as a member of the public, I find that you contradict yourself Lord. You want to pass on concerns to social workers but you dont want to be the eyes and ears? Each time you see a child at risk you should pass this...

Re: Dialect words and usage

I grew up hearing 'sccot the loot (lute sp?)' to mean 'get out of here' or 'get away' when under my mothers feet. :D

Re: CHCP news

Its a shame nurses, doctors and social workers are not getting along because it can only affect the people with mental health problems if those people are working in the same teams. What exactly is the medical model? Is it about treating illness? I thought nursing was different to that and it was ab...

There's a number of things happening or rumoured to be happening within GCC and its family of of bastard offshoots. Like what? And w...
