Re: micro four thirds

The DSLR isn't going to go away any time soon, though, says me tempting fate. It's based on 50 year old principles, as regards the mirror and so on, but if it works it works. Something there akin to the statements about 35mm film not so many years ago when I was enjoying using my nice Contax SLRs. ...

Re: HG Walk, Saturday 24th April 2010

When I flagged up the Enamel Sign exhibition I had intended to come along, living near Falkirk and all, but life got in the way and I had to go to Perth and missed the walk. Superb photos, and the ones of the signs are excellent. I had gone when the show opened, and took one photo of the Black Cat s...

Re: HG Walk, Saturday 24th April 2010

Re: Zenit Photosniper

The same foreign folk also did a very neat 35mm enlarger which folded down into an attache case. Very James Bond.

I remember buying one from by boss in John Browns as he had moved on to something more flash. And less portable. ::):

Re: Bing! (West Lothian)

Excellent photos and an excellent insight into the shale industry. The RCAHMS has some photographs online showing the scale of the bings. Scran has shale images too, including details of the haulage employed on the bings. For the construction of the Central Scotland motorway network the contractors ...
