Not sure I'd agree, he's not completely daft, met him a few times, more money than sense, but seems to have a real drinking problem as he's almost always pished.

At the moment I'd rather a low paid job with the police force than a high paid mind numbing job elsewhere, I quite fancy being a LEO, but I don't have the patience to be a beat cop :? Not being paid enough to deal with neds on a day to day basis does not equate to being low paid. The lowest ranking...

My son has to deal with these people on a daily basis. In my opinion, he doesn't get paid enough to deal with the abuse, verbal or otherwise. Say what you like about the police, my son is one of the good guys. I have a hell of a lot of respect for your son which is strange for my age group (I'm 22)...

Na, it's cool, I know what you mean. I wouldn't be a Polis for love nor money. But somebody's gotta do it. I quite fancy the job (I'm currently considering joining the specials), but I don't think I could be a beat cop, if the neds didn't kill me the politicians/bureaucrats would. Football A game w...

Well done at standing up to the drunk on the bus, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" , too often now a days people would have sat by and said nothing. I'm sorry about you're cousin, I'm glad the police caught them, since they get away way too o...

Mid 90s, unless it happened more than once. The cops on board both survived, one was the partner of a friend of a friend. Might be a different one you're thinking of: Taken from http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/1826661.stm * In 1990, Sergeant Malcolm Herd was killed when a police Bell Jet 206 he...

Yup.

I remember seeing the damage to the old folks home, but I think the helicopter was gone by the time I seen it.
