I thought the work from the Environmental Art department was the best. I loved the honey dripping toadstools (as shown below), and the raffle ticket, fake beard and glasses installation. A few good shows from printmaking and photography too. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/Macjoy/smalltoadstoo...

Yeah, you can still get along the beach, and there are still tons of routes. It's just that you have to climb fences to get onto the old railway bridge, because it is in a bad way. The tracks are all still used a lot, a bit more overgrown through the trees, and the scramblers have made a good job of...

GSA Degree Show

It's the city night of the degree show at the Art School tonight. It's open from the 18th - 25th.

I'm going along to see if I can spot any up and coming super artists.

I'm afraid that the old railway bridge was fenced off about a year ago, so you can't get through on your bike any more - shame really because it's spoiled a good MTB route.

There are plenty routes that you can go for walking, and it's nice along the street and along the old railway line, or you can walk along the shore to the basin, although the track is slightly overgrown and a bit rough in places. Its a four mile circular walk from the station, along to the Saltings ...

Yeah, we stayed at the Aultguish Inn, which was being redecorated at the time and was looking good. http://www.aultguish.co.uk/ We just climbed hills all weekend, and there is plenty of them. I'm sure you could find a good spot for wild camping, and there are a few good sites around if you like the ...

It's about time that we had some decent graf under the Erskine Bridge. Took a few snaps on Tuesday night to show off the meagre offerings. The thing is, there are lots of nicely primed, flat concrete surfaces over quite a big area to do something stunning. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/Macjo...

Yeah, BW is a great hill - climbed it with hubby in March and saw about 2 people all day - bliss. We heard it was a boring hill from loads of folk who obviously didn't climb it during the week and in the winter for that added adventure, but we loved it. It would be great to take the mtb along it in ...
