Any help still appreciated. We are planning a full picture mission and will add them soon.

City of Glasgow Union Railway

Hello all, Wonder if you can give us a hand. Timchilli and I were finally out exploring Glasgow's Railway's again today (even with the inclement weather - it never stops us). We had a look down the east end and came upon the old City of Glasgow Union Railway. Anyone got any images of the old Gallowg...

Trees

Was with Timchilli when he took those photos, and it does indeed look like those little shrubs in 1928 have grown into the big trees of 2005. Also, if you compare the pictures of the church, the same tree sits in front of it with the same 3 bough's visible. There's a cose up of it I think. Great pic...

Hi

I suspect we're going to disappoint you today Sharon. Dirty because the area around it is a building site. :(

Coming!

Hehe, we got a bit dirty during our exploration (no, not in that way!) and so have required to go home for showers and grub and I think Timchilli went to change his favourite jumper that he ripped.

This evening

Good evening all.

This last set of posts about the rotunda's inspired myself and Timchilli. So this evening we decided to undertake a little adventure

Photo's will be coming soon - once he's loaded them onto PC. Hope you all enjoy.

Hi

Any chance that there might be another tour happening soon? Missed the last one due to work. Was also wondering if it's safe to wander through during the day in a small group (one or two others) sa you do see some dodgy characters hanging around - not HG member's i'm sure!

*Hot News*

Just read the article in today's Herald about plans to reopen many of Glasgow's rail tunnels in a proposed £800 million pound scheme. There's a photo of the entrance to the Yorkhill tunnel as well. Loving it if this turns out to be true and goes ahead. The tunnels in Glasgow have made me love the ci...

Sorry, Tim, the video footage is buggered. Will have to make a return visit to all our stops to refilm it :(

My apologies once again for getting your hopes up!

Graffiti

Couldn't agree more. Seems such a shame that a lot of old buildings and monuments are stripped away or left to rot, and the cleverest thing that folk can think to do to whats left is adorn it in garish, uniteresting guff.
