Thanks for the tips folks. It is a bit tricky, as I will only be down in Glasgow for two days, and not really sure what is in the flat yet - so cannot put stuff on Gumtree. But I will check out the other places you have mentioned.

House Clearance

I have to clear out a flat in Clydebank of stuff I am unlikely to want. Any suggestions on how this stuff can be got rid of? Are there charities or companies that come and take stuff away?

Would appreciate any tips, thanks.

Trail West at Park Bar tonight 7th Feb

These guys won the Scottish Dance Band of the Year award at the Scots Trad Music Awards 2013. And one is a former student of mine. They are playing a few gigs in Glasgow - including the Park Bar tonight.
