Well folks if we can between ourselves arrange a time and date we only need to contact Robert Chappell at TaTa Steel and he will put the wheels in motion for a tour of the plant but we are on our own looking around what is left of Colvilles Clugston and Shanks.

The new bridge is just across the road from the auld 64 bus terminus it goes right from where the gasometers used to be right past the old B.S rolling mill (its motorway sized ye cannae miss it)

RE That strange structure @ Carmyle not Cambus(BLUDDY) lang.

Perhaps a walk along the path would enlighten peeps to what went on there and the railway heads might see that not every thing was mapped.I was told that it supplied water to `gassometers` but ah dont know what that is so ah cant comment.
