Re: WANTED!! Ideas for new projects....

There were one or two in Mosspark Primary school. I used to jump on a certain bit of the playground and it sounded hollow. My mum was in it as a youngster during the war. She said her knees used to knock together she was so scared.

Re: The finest coffee in Glasgow....

Re: Ruchill Hospital (Old hospital buildings off Bilsland Drive)

I worked in Ruchill Hospital from 1978 until 1991 as a Technician. I enjoyed my time there and it was my first job. It made me really sad seeing those photos of it now all vandalised. It seemed to be a friendly place to work at least I found that. The main staircase up was a bit creepy though which ...

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hi Folks
I'm Debbie. I'm interested in Glasgow in the olden days especially Tradeston, govan and Langside. Mosspark as well. I enjoyed reading the posts about the Glasgow Underground. I came across the site looking up Genealogy info on my family. It's a great site.

Tailors in Shaw Street, Govan

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct forum. I had an ancestor with the name James Hassan and he had a Tailors Shop at 7 Shaw Street, Govan until about 1960. I wondered if anyone knew the family who owned it. I'd like to know what happened to them after the shop closed. They lived at 176 S...
