Re: The Walrus & The Carpenter

I had a great-aunt who adored this shop and spent a lot of time there. She regularly brought me wee nick-nacks from it. Re: Silverburn and Pollok Civic Realm

That is shocking, but not entirely surprising of some taxi drivers. Too many of these guys get away with dreadful driving, no manners - either on the road or person to person, and downright aggression. Take their number and make an official complaint to the company, or Licensing Board. Fortunately, ...

Re: The Bowler and the Bunnet

Hi and welcome to HG from a fellow newbie!

This was an STV programme, I don't think it's available commercially, but you could try contacting [email protected] to see if they could help you with a copy from their library, although it's likely to be expensive.

Good luck!

Re: The 4 hour threat of a fine

Is the 4 hour rule only applied to the Tesco car park, rather than the Silverburn shopping complex car parks? If so, then I whole-heartedly agree with it. I've tried on two occasions to do my food shopping at Tesco during the day on a weekend, and had to leave again and drive to Asda because I could...

Re: The Bank Job?

You can buy Down Among the Big Boys, Just a Boys Game, Just Another Saturday and The Elephants Graveyard together with a documentary in a box called The Peter McDougall Collection - I think HMV are doing it for around a tenner at the mo. Great value for four plays. [and, if you don't mind me saying,...
