Re: Parking fine at Silverburn

..............Maybe I should set onyirtodd on her, tell her how it should be! :) It probably wouldn't make onny difference. She knows how it should be - she just doesn't care and, in the event she gets a ticket, she'll come greetin' take a discussion group to see if onny cunt knows how she can avoi...

Re: New Family Members

Minimum 2 days. Just take it slow, you can be really tempted for the big final show piece but seriously build it up bit by bit. Have a plan, think of ideas, look at picture, have an end point in mind but just take it slow. Especially if you aren't used to it. Personally if it were me setting up - W...

Re: Parking fine at Silverburn

eob: I can understand both sides of your dilema, but bearing in mind the hassle that could result from ignoring it... might be easier just to pay. The multistorey at Silverburn has a load of P&C bays on each level - not just on the surface car park at the front; no use if you want tesco though....

Re: New Family Members

Start again, take it easy. Get some buckets of water set out. Fish husbandry is very enjoyable but you need to build it up piece by piece. It's great for kids too but beware of getting carried away. How far in advance would you make up buckets for water changes and leave sitting with added dechlori...

Re: Parking fine at Silverburn

You know, I don't even know! Probably away out visiting. Am i not getting that apology for your rude comment then? Absolutely not. If you think teaching impressionable weans that it's OK to steal disabled parking spaces and then try and wriggle out of the consequences is 'good parenting' then you'r...

Good. Job well done. Maybe a promise from you (and Mrs eob) not to do it again wouldn't go amiss.

Yeah, and an apology from your end wouldn't go amiss either.

Re: Parking fine at Silverburn

Which just goes to show. Some people just ain't cut out for parenthood. Okay, you're just on the wind up now. How can you possibly comment on my wife's ability as a parent? For your information, we have three, healthy, well loved children who want for nothing without being spoiled. I think I'm goin...

Re: Parking fine at Silverburn

I hope that you and your family don't have to try and get a disabled person who may be in some pain out of a car in a normal space, possibly risking back injury to yourself, because some young mother thinks that they are more 'deserving'. (Speaking from experience here!) How do you imagine a disabl...

Re: Parking fine at Silverburn

No. Just out of interest (I've never been any closer to Silverburn than the bus stance), are the doors to the shopping centre wide enough to get a car through? Why didn't your wife just drive straight in and up to the door of the shop she was heading for? No need to worry about parent & child o...
