Re: Scottish Parliamentary Election 2011

So many people I viewed as rounded, intelligent people, voted no.
I am astounded.

Re: What's on early in the morning?

I'm enjoying retirement but still get up at 6.00 a.m. Does anyone have any suggestions for early morning activities? What's on or open that early in the day? Le durachd, Eddy Get a dog. Become friends. Take him walks! The joy of always being awake at that time would be that no one else is. You'll g...

Re: A Greek Tragedy

Such a beautiful building.

How bad is it inside?

If it is demolished, I will be making contact with the demolition company for some of the more detailed pieces of stonework.

But, its not over yet.
Get your objections submitted to the council.

Re: What song are you listening to?

Ack. I live in a Labour stronghold so voting SNP isn't going to make a difference where I live.
The best it can do, is to make sure the Labour candidate knows he has to work harder to ensure a successful re-election next time.

Re: Scottish Parliamentary Election 2011

I cannot wait to vote!
I feel I have some unfinished business after voting for Lib Dems at the General Election and being totally and completely let down by them in the day, weeks, and months following that fateful day.

SNP
Greens

Re: The 'Homers' Network!

Is this thread still lively?
I notice the majority of posts are from 2010 and earlier!

I need a good plumber, joiner and screeder/concrete layer? for a complete rebuild of a groundfloor bathroom.
I'm down to brick walls and dirt floors (almost) and my DIY skills are just not up to it!

Re: IDS calls "War!" on the Great Unwashed.

Good shout on the Charlie Veitch videos on youtube.
Hadn't come across this guy before.
His Royal Wedding arrest video is staggering.

Re: Western SMT Bus Company

My god how the Leopards used to scare me as a young 5 year old boy. Trying to climb the 2 or 3 stairs while my mum struggled with a buggy and a new baby. Even worse was when you had to stand up for your stop. Being a mere nipper, the driver wouldn't always see me until the last minute. This often re...
