Re: Lost record shops of Glasgow

Is anyone out there old enough to remember a music shop named Paterson sons & Co. Buchanan Street. Fantastic place. I worked in their head office. They used to have little cubicles that allowed you to listen to your music. And they rented studios with grand pianos. Great times there.

When I was but a Teeny bopper. I did see Johnny Dankworth and Cleo Laine at Barrowland, that was before they hooked up with each other. Others I have seen (round about the same time, 1940s) were Frank Sinatra, Billy Eckstine, Frankie Laine. Those were the days!!

Most sites will give you their Terms of Agreement. They may state you can copy so long as you do not make a profit from that copy{naturally} Some sites may require that you ask permission first or they may ask for a small payment for the copy.
