Re: Ask Alex

Cheers Alex.. yeah it is a shame, especially when considering its growing status as a credible and respected artform (think of Banksy, for starters..). Nowadays with the council trying to promote Glasgow as a top art desintation, it would make sense to consider graffiti art as something more than ju...

Re: Ask Alex

MotoMad what, of course, you actually posted was for legal graffiti walls (not legal graffitti)and I think that would be great. Mind you, it might be the end of graffiti! When the pub trade was having big problems about graffiti in their toilets many moons ago, the big corporate chain management ty...

I don't really get this guy's argument. I mean if this guy enjoyed himself in Edinburgh much more than in Glasgow, why not move there? I've just moved to Glasgow last week and i just love this city. I was in Edinburgh yesterday (i'd already been there before) and while i understand why people tend t...

it's nice, definitely adds some colour, but it's way overpriced. And as 'the most expensive piece of public art ever erected in Glasgow', one would expect something abit more grand.

not in glasgow, but the best burger i've ever had was at the canteen of Forth Valley College, Falkirk. The place was called 'the snack shack' and is situated in the disabled students' section of the college.
Strange place, but man what a burger!

i grew up using PCs but decided to buy a Mac laptop a year and a half ago. Since then it's become such a bore to work on PCs at work. Mind you, even Macs have their own problems. They're just tend to happen less frequently and can be resolved quickly. As yokerbloke said, you shouldn't go for a mac i...

The song that I associate most with Glasgow is by Glaswegian band Mogwai. The song is called Tracy. It gives me the same feeling as a trip on the M8 through Glasgow at night, blurred city lights and all that..
