Re: Hidden Lane Wall

I had thought that it may have come from another location, but then why build it into a new brick wall that's so out of the way?
Might ask the landlord next time I see him if he knows anything about it.

Hidden Lane Wall

Does anyone know what this sign, that's down the hidden lane, said at some point?
I've had a search but can't find anything.
I'm thinking this wall the property of...but who?

Re: Uncovered: Old Shop Signage (temporarily revealed)

Argyle St Image By SZJ @ SSC http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m305/ross_fox/DSCF6817.jpg I have to pass this sign on the way to work every day and it gives me a sad every time. Sad that the sign has been sawn through now when it could have easily been taken down or covered over again. When it was...

Anyone know where to get leather boots altered?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows a place around Glasgow where I can get a pair of Leather riding boots widened?
I bought them off eBay but unfortunately they are a little too tight around the calf area.
Oh...and before anyone thinks it, I don't ride horses they are part of a costume :)

Re: I know I shouldn't mention badges here, but....

I started off running a badge company. Since branched out into T-shirt printing too.
Always happy to make one offs for folk if you would like something written on one.

Re: Anyone know anyone looking for an ACDC ticket?

Yeah. Ive still got the ticket. The real problem was that my friend called me last night and im down in Manchester till monday. If you know anyone just let me know and i can meet on monday. I havent mentioned it anywhere else cause my internet access is limited to my phone which is another pain.

Re: Anyone had a peek at the refurbished Kelvingrove yet ?

Does anyone else get the feeling that the gallery has been dumbed down? By that I mean that it feels as though it is arranged to try and keep peoples pea sized attention spans happy. My other gripe was that there seemed to be either no or very little information about the exhibits on display. I want...

Re: dennistoun zombie movie

I think I've seen this one. (Bob Hoskins)? Best comedy I've seen in years. I especially like the bit where the guy explains that the Aliens style vehicle can withstand a nuke blast etc, yet later in the movie its window is taken out with what seems to be a crusty sock of some sort. I worry though, a...

Re: Last will And Testement?

I always seem to have someone trying to hurry me up the moment I want to write something. I didn't get a chance to fill in the gaps yesterday. My Grandfather died in November 2006 and we are coming up to almost a year and a half now. He was a small farmer and didn't leave much behind other than some...

Re: Last will And Testement?

I should add that it is not so much about making one as the process of dealing with one once someone has done the off.
