Re: Hiking near Glasgow?

I am pretty sure you can get the bus out to Luss as well - at this time of year you will be able to do the Ben Dhu horseshow with ease - a good day out walk. Check out http://urbanflyfisher.com/a-bit-of-a-wa ... einn-dubh/ for some dodgy photos. That book in the post is great as well :D

Most of the spiders we get in the house are Tegenaria Duellica, commonly known as the Giant House Spider - wolf spiders live outdoors. You'll see more Tegenaria Duellica at this time of year as the mature males start wandering around looking for a mate. It's quite common for the bigger specimens to...

Good grief - not allowed to shout in the streets to advertise a paper ? One of my fondest memories is getting dragged around town when a youngster and wondering why these people were shouting
" Flooooooobadobba Wonka"

At least - that is what it sounded like to me :D

I rate the "Hoola Burger" in the Hoola Cafe quite highly - nice and thich with fancy wee potato things on the side. Only downside is they seem to have reduced the size in the last month or so.

Still nice though !

I worked there for 8 years and it just seemed to get worse. Even staff are having problems as there is now a max 2hr stay at Sainsbury. Also the building of new flats on site of tyre place opposite causes lots of delays. The worst was last week I tried to get onto Crow rd but some Fud had parked ri...

Re: Elderly care homes in Glasgow

If you're relative is in hospital and being moving to a home from there, don't let the social work service bully you into taking the first available. The patient has the right to wait until their choice becomes available. Good luck. Sorry, got to correct you there! Social Workers dont bully people ...
