CleanGlasgow is a short-term initiative aimed at making certain parts of Glasgow more appealing to the eye for visiting Commonwealth Games decision-makers. I am committed to trying to extend Glasgow City Council's current remit and responsibilities, this is at the very core of my wee venture... this doesn't mean I should blindly agree with everything GCC ...

While not wishing to downplay the incompetence of Culture and Sport Glasgow (the event managers) in failing to manage the crowd effectively, I can concur with tobester that there was never any real danger to the public on the Saturday: http://www.glasgowlost.org/hiddenglasgow/grf.JPG gL.

cheesylion, I don't know whom you are referring to about not being in attendance, but from what I can see we all went this year, apart from those who had already seen from prior experience that this tacky event didn't justify a £3 entrance fee!
