Re: Latest project, 1967 VW beetle restoration.

This is a great project to follow. By the way your Dad was a great supporting act - that engine - WOW!!! On a more mundane point. What are the paperwork requirements to get it on the road. e.g. will a normal MOT suffice, will a new registration document be required, or do you keep the old reg. numbe...

Re: Not really interesting facts about yourself

My dentist was a character. I was sitting in the waiting room at the appointed time and he appeared and told me to go into the torture chamber and he would be with me shortly. Re: Crosshill and Southern Necropolis Walk

Hello there you people who walked on Sunday. You did get a great day weather-wise for it. I was intrigued to see in your photos at Cathkin Park that the hand-rails looked as though they had recently been painted. Are there any organised games played there. In fact is the pitch playable. I wouldn't i...

Re: Where is Glasgow?

Glasgow was originally classed as being in Lanarkshire. As time went on and things changed. Strathclyde came into existence and Glasgow was contained therein. When I was young and not so young, I can assure you Glasgow was in Lanarkshire.

Re: Buskers / Street Performers

Re: Edinburgh Wander. Sunday 4th. May
Cheers, Tobes. I do have my bus pass though, that should get me a cheaper train ticket, no?
You're right the answers NO!
Strathclyde only - we were told last year.
Unless things have changed since then, I don't know as we've gone by bus since.
