More coverage in today's Evening Times: Protesters claim under threat garage is unique Despite the AC talk of horses and carts, the original plans specifically call it a garage. Re: Glasgow City Shots October 07

I pass this building a few times a day and wonder why it stands alone in the building site/harbour development. Looks like it may have been a school but I can't see the tell tale 'Boys & Girls' signs on the stone. Any idea why it is saved ? Just curious you know. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/...

Posted this last night in the wrong forum....here goes again.... Did a wee search but didn't turn up what I was looking for - specifically: The Clydebank Co-op took over the Anniesland Co-op, whose building was (still is) in Crow Road North just slightly back from the Cross. Thanks very much for posting that! See that white tenement, just left of centre at the top of the pic? My auntie lived there. I remember going there with my grannie when I was about 9 after my auntie had moved out to Knighstwood and just before the tenement was to be demolished and when we stepped i...

why oh why did they see the need to demolish that tenement? Surely it could have been renovated? When you see the red bricked pices of lego that have replaced it, I wonder if they'll be standing after 40 years let alone 90! My family lived just around the corner from there in St. Peter's Street unti...
