Thanks for the info. RE scanning...it was scanned at 200 DPI and converted to JPEG, I've also got a 600 DPI scan which is great for getting out the smaller details...pity it's 100Mb! There is slight foxing on the paper. If anyone out there knows how to stop this getting worse I'd love to know. R

Old Map of Glasgow - Date Unknown..any guesses?

Hi, I've scanned an old map of Glasgow I thought you'd be interested in. Exact date is not on the map (not that I can see), but given it states the "New Exchange", must be after 1829. There are lots of place names, so any one with a good knowledge of Glasgow's history should be able to date it easil...
