I remember going into The New Blane Valley,in Stockwell St,at the age of 15,and having 3 pints of heavy.......I also remember spewing all over the middle of Stockwell St,when I left the pub.......an uncomfortable journey home on the 41 bus......and a session in bed with a basin,when I got home.........

I seem to remember one of the djs,during his show joking around,said if anybody had the answer to a fun question that he had posed.......they should ring in,and if thay got the right answer,he would give away a bed...............someone did phone in,and gave the answer......but did not take kindly t...

Any fans of Be Bop Deluxe remember John Cooper Clarke leaving the stage after a barrage of abuse from the Glasgow Apollo audience after about10 minutes? He supported the band in 1977 or maybe 78........anyone else see any bad support bands?

One of the presenters,who shall remain nameless....but we'll call him Frank De Pellette,used to call the station ...Fast End Radio......due to it going down the tubes after a short time on air!.....Anyone remember Sammy Bell,the worst DJ in history?

East End Radio Glasgow

Anyone remember this radio station from the early ninties? It was a comunity station,broadcast from the Easterhouse business centre. It lasted about 2 years and had some good stuff and total shite on it(I was on it,!!!!!!).....as I am now a plumber,you can tell which of these I was......anyone else ...

I spotted Brian,a good few years ago in the Anderson Cross Centre...there was a short lived Antique market on there at the weekends....he had a stall there.......resting between jobs luvy!

Used to get chips from the said Station Cafe,before getting the 41 bus home to Barlanark in the 70's...stopped going there when the Evening Times printed a story about someone finding a deep fried fag in their chips........

I had the misfortune to see The Sutherland Brothers and Quiver at the Glasgow Apollo,in 1977 I think!...the tickets were given away free in the 23rd Precinct record store.....I think they had trouble selling them. Another good read is Handstands In The Dark by Janey Godley.....set in and around The East End of Glasgow in the 70,s and 80's it's both funny and sad. A true story about Janey,her upbringing and marriage into a family of publicans/gangsters...........
