I live in the converted half of the GPO building and can see into the interior of the derelict half, there is not one window intact, birds living in it and constant rodent vigilance in this half of the building. That half of the building is an eyesore and I don't like the idea of it getting pulled ...

Pictures of Maryhill in the 50's

Does anyone have any photo's or information about St. Clair(s) St in Maryhill from the 50's. It's been rebuilt since and we are looking for some old pictures.

Kate Cranston

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I am researching a definite family tie with Kate Cranston and looking to find out if anyone knows the year she was born?
Can anyone advise me about where to go to look up birth certificates? Would it be Martha St?

Killer Clowns

I remember the Killer Clown story when I was in Primary 7, about 1990, they slashed the sides of your mouth (like a chelsea grin?) I was always terrified of them. I agree that clowns are a little scary!!!

I moved into the GPO flats a couple of months ago and have access to the basements, they are huge and have lots of rooms and corridors. Haven't gone too far into them, creepy as hell.......
