bothwell tunnel

Heard from good source the tunnels are 100ft underground, run from bothwell st to cathedral st at nth hanover st, with another branch to the GRI, along with branches all over the place and rooms aswell, also heard the walls are solid and access in the old GPO building in Bothwell st was in the sub s...

buchanan station

Well i only came on to this thread tonight to find out more info on the tunnel as i was at my girlfriends tonight, and she lives in the student flats beside the tunnel entrance. Tonight was the first time i'd looked round the back of the building in 14months and i was like thats buchanan street tunn...

Hyndland station upgrade

I was wondering if anyone knew any info on the plans im sure they were in the evening times about 2months ago, about a possible upgrading of the present hyndland station. I was just wondering what this would entail??

glasgow zoo

i remeber going to the zoo for orienteering between 1994 -1996, i twice came in second in my class, i also remeber just wandering about daft half the time and not actually using the map! It was great fun! Incidently i was at edinburgh zoo on monday it does upset me that we don't have a zoo in glasgo...

Well I'd just like to add my own view on the zonecard i have a 3zone G1G2 and G8 which in turn gives me all 8 Glasgow zones. Its £16.80 a Week but i get value for money from it as i use the train and bus going to college in clydebank from my home in knightswood then use it to go to work in the forge...

Odeon RIP....

I was in the bar revolution across the road from it on saturday night and if i had known before that it was its final night, i would have went and said goodbye i have fond memories of that place, it was a sorry sight seeing the staff put the we are now closed signs up on the boards outside around 9pm
