Yeah it does feel like a chain pub too. I just cant believe that they have'nt been reported for the lack of hygene. The other stupid thing too, they shut the upstairs lounge early, so you have to go downstairs and end up standing for the rest of the night. If you stay that is. We buggered off somewh...

I was out last night for a meet-up with some friends from another website. The chosen venue was The Goose in Union Street. I have been in some dives in my life, but this place wins hands down for having the filthiest, smelliest, most un-hygenic toilets in the country. I could'nt get out the place qu...

The bit you took the pics was used for speedboat rides round the bay, and also waterskiing. That was u...

I've forgotten the line up of the original band now. I'll need to do a bit of digging to see now. (you've got me curious) I'm not sure if it was Chris Farlow singing at the time.
I have an album (vinyl of course) of "Colleseum Two" with Gary Moore playing on it.

I know this is nothing to do with the music offered here, but I still cant get over the love of my life "Diana Krall" marrying Mr Costello. Broke my heart she did    It also affected her music in a recent album in my opinion. Instead of her amazing jazz offerings, it was lac...

You were talking about Wal basses earlier. The bass player in our band in the eighties had two of them. One a fretted (just like the one in your pic) and the other a fretless. They really did have a different sound to the other basses of the time. He played his through a Trace Elliot stack. Lovely l...

I'd forgotten about Clem Clemson. He played with the the original Colleseum in the early seventies.
I used to have an album of them. He did a solo that went on for ages.
I think it was Stormy Monday Blues.
Have'nt heard him for years.
