Re: What are you watching?

watching the Blacklist on my firestick, very good series. 50 quid a year get's me all live tv and sports from around the world as well as series and movies. 4K firestick costs 50 quid as well, but well worth the money if you have good broadband. Anyone needing advice send me a message.

Re: Moving to Glasgow

I don't really know these area's that well. But from reputation alone, I would go with Kirkintilloch first then Uddingston then Springboig. The latter had a bit of a reputation in the 80,s and 90,s for criminal violence between gangs/factions, but not heard much about the area of late.

Re: Forgotten Pubs & Clubs in Glasgow

I seem to remember the pub below Panama Jax was called The Devils Advocate, spent many a Friday after work in there.

Re: Glasgow Nightclubs

My best guess would be the early ninety's, as Tin Pan Alley only opened in 89(i think). Not sure all the flyers are from the same time though.

Re: Postcard dated November 1st. 1932

What an excellent story and some brilliant detective work. Just a couple of observations from the great work done by many here. Firstly it looks like Mr & Mrs Rennie were in a hurry to get married given the date of their wedding and the date their first born arrived(5 months apart), so possibly ...

Re: Memory Loss

Glesga_steve, you should have reported the missing £50 to the bank, because if the money isnt lifted within 30 seconds, then the machine takes the money back in. It could have been worth the hassle. This very scenario happened to a friend of mine last year, and he was moaning about it in the pub, wh...

Re: Where is this (reprise)?

Could possibly be the cast of a play, and still in costume. As i said before the onlookers look to be dressed in a much later dress fashion. Is the small figure at the back maybe a ventriliquists dummy? Aslo the stage seems extremely high up? Loads of questions no real answers.

Re: Where is this (reprise)?

The 4 guys looking down from the balcony look to come from a different era, as only 1 from 4 has a tash, and their clothes wouldnt look out of place at a Kray twins 21st party. Anyone else notice what looks like writing saying BAD on the opposite balcony from the 4 onlookers. That small lady at the ...
