Re: No-Go Areas in Glasgow. Serious ones.

The main door at Glasgow Central Station. It's slash city at that bit. Welcome to Glasgow, yer claimed! I normally use the other doors, although the Hope Street exit had that severed ear a while back and the Union Street door has the Big Issue seller who is rude to me under her breath when I walk by...

Re: space shuttle visits glesga

I once posted from my base which orbits the Earth, moments before the Earth was due to get blowed-up (by me), but the bang never happened so I just came home, read a book and went to my bed.

I have a great scud book; a real half-stiffy turn-on. It's 'Scud 1980-87 - Perspectives on Mobile Launch Systems during the Iran-Iraq War (with introduction by Lt. Col Frank McAvennie). Page 83 is a real bum tickler.

Just realised - it's one guy signing. It's the Sash. He's my neighbour. He is chapping his front door even though he lives alone.

I am listening to a song two drunk twats are signing in the street. It's only 12.45 and that's bedtime for them already.

I am not a Glasgower myself. I spent my infancy in Johnstone and regard Glasgow as a sort-of Greater Johnstone as a result. We tended to spend out time in art galleries or inventing things, like velcro and the printing press. I haven't decided what Glasgow gang to join yet.

When me and the TV License people used to write letters to each other they informed me I didn't need to pay a license if I had a telly - as long as the bit inside which receives a signal was removed. They also said if you had no telly, but did have a DVD recorder you had to pay-up. These people are ...

I typed my name in and a message came-up saying I should be King of Scotland. Irn Bru then began to pour from my CD Rom drive while haggis was squeezed out of all my USB ports. I'm not really sure what to make of it all.

We should run our own gang - The Square Go Hidden Glasgow. I will nominate myself as interim leader. The chicks can be in it too, but have to wear matching shiny jackets.

The comments I made certainly invoke my experiences of a new type of Glaswegian man who has replaced the HardMan (TM) of 'yore.' Faced with a choice between HardMan and ArtGalleryMan, I would rather have a conversation with the guy wearing the Carlsberg t-shirt.
