Re: Links to funny, cool or interesting stuff

... the problem with our forum is that most of the regular and excellent contributors have passed to the great forum in the sky. Search for Hollowhorn and you'll find a vast amount of information that would allow you to engage for weeks. I want to chat with somebody who will respond, not just to re...

Re: Links to funny, cool or interesting stuff

How many bombs would it take to get a ship to the sort of velocities for interstellar (or even meaningfull interplanetary) travel? Thousands, perhaps tens of thousands. (Depends on the speed you want to reach.) You need about a thousand just to get into orbit. That being said, we are talking about ...

Re: Nuclear war in Glasgow

My girlfriend, born and bred in Glasgow, hasn't heard of Greenham Common and I, who lived in a People's Republic, have. Of course, we were never told of the Soviet nuclear bases, just of these of the enemy. The impression the commie propaganda wanted to leave was that the enemy is arming while 'we' ...

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

I am a Glasgow local.... since 2015. :) Before that I lived in London for over half a year becasue, like all the other emigrants without imagination, I could not think of another city in Britain. Before London I lived in Bulgaria. By the way, I was born in a former mining city there, the city of Per...
