Re: Help! Where is this?

I mind half the family spending hours staring at this photo on new years day last year. Kept them quiet for a lot longer than the daft puzzles out the leftover christmas crackers! Like the rest of yous I was content that it had long been solved but I just noticed that in the aerial shot the zebra lo...

Re: Forums upgrade

Oh... this is much better than when I logged in a week ago! Moving the sidebar back to the left makes a huge difference for something that shouldn't really matter. I guess its just a natural postion for it seen as how we read from left to right. One thing that still makes it less easy on the eye tha...

Can anyone get this to work as advertised?

I can zoom 'roon the toon like a drunk pigeon no probs but all the buildings are just grey boxes. The photo-realistic rendering with 5mm detail as advertised in the report just doesn't happen!

I quite like that building on the right. There ain't another like it. They really shouldn't be allowed to pull it down!

Was down there yesterday. The south facing side of the front tower still has half it's windows in, so it'll probably be a wee while yet before they come down. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g107/electricsprout/IMG_2723.jpg http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g107/electricsprout/IMG_2725.jpg http://...

The tunnel's a good read as the graffiti is more of a literary than artistic nature, but it's a weird place for sure. Walked through on my own one time in the middle of the day. Took at least 20 minutes to get from one end to the other (probably faster if you don't stop for photos and reading) but I...

Evil feckers! Think I'll apply for a clubcard just so's I can cut it up, spit on it and mail it back! I guess it wasn't the most stunningly attractive thing that ever went up but for some reason I always liked that funny wee pile of bricks on stilts... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g107/electric...

Did this photo ever get sent into the paper? Maybe it needs to be made into a "Have You Seen This Place?" poster and stuck on lamposts and junction boxes all over the town. Or maybe Reporting Scotland would run a story on the mystery photo that's had hundreds of Hidden Glaswegians stumped ...

Another fantastic photo ElectricSprout. Cheers! Took a quite a few visits before I managed to pull off the shot I wanted. Always got stuck with the usual crap sky and/or rough water! I guess these two I already posted in other threads belong here too. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g107/electric...
