Re: The Southside Festival 4th June - 28th June 2008

The festival is being organised by a steering group + Tram Direct. You can contact Isobel Barrett at [email protected]. It might be too late to get involved this year though.

What a huge difference to the building. The windows appear to be white pvc, could be wrong about the pvc, but white.....

Excellent news.
That area of Cessnock seems to be changing, a few new shops, a new indian cafe and a fancy deli place on North Gower Street.

How do you get in touch with the association? Do they have a website or e-mail address.
I think Sunflower mentioned that they meet up every month...to clean up the area in front of the crescent....is it this weekend?

well if the M74 doesn't bypass the city, then what does it bring to Glasgow. You only have to look around Glasgow to see the negative impact the existing motorway has on areas. Anderston, Kingston, Charing Cross, tradeston need I continue. The motorway divided up the city fabric and left large areas...

OH COME ON, Sorry to go back to the M74, do you really think Glasgow's going to profit from the extension, in what way. The extension makes it easier and quicker to bypass the city. The independent enquiry, which the Scottish Exec commisioned, found that the m74 would have a negative impact on Glasg...

Just the way house prices have soared over the last three years so have construction cost's.

There is so much construction work in Glasgow at the moment, that firms don't have to compete to get work, they have plenty, so they can charge what they like.
