Thanks for the suggestion about Call Yersel a Bankie - I've had a look at the Facebook page and and it looks like good fun and chat there. Not sure I qualify as a Bankie myself but I shall probably ask.

I can't vote, none of the options apply. I live far far far too far away (Chesterfield, Derbyshire) and can only visit Scotland a couple times a year, then it's Edinburgh. Are you all locals? I thought you'd have tons of members overseas n that.

Thanks wee Harry, I was surprised to see on a map in a book called "The Gorbals - Historical Guide and Heritage Walk" by Ronald Smith, that at least part of Crown Street was still there. I had been told by family that it "was all gone now". But I guess all the tenements went. One...
