Yeah I noticed they didn't exactly look closely :) Is it difficult to get that job ? I wouldn't mind signing up  As long as you have two opposing thumbs you should be OK! The Sunday mail advertises it every so often. The job is called "part-time ticket examiner". part-time being the...

I don't use buses, or the Subway, every day, so maybe i've just missed them. Of course my ticket is checked every time I use the train, sometimes twice if there's inspectors on duty at the exit gate. There's a laugh. I used to be one of those "inspectors". We weren't really there to catch...

It is a much neglected part of the City and doesn't make many appearances on here. Will need to get down and have a walk about. Strange! I was just thinking reading this thread there seems to be a lack of all things Govan on HG. i've just bought a digital camera and was thinking of taking a wee dau...

I don't know how to post google pictures so you'll have to look at this the long way. Go to Faslane sub base. It's awfully unclear compared to the surrounding areas. Do you think they might keep something secret there?

It looks as if it's a building thats been re-built at a later date and the 1906 date stone has been re-fitted (hence the modern'ish red brick/blonde sandstone combination). So I'd reckon it's a building that has a specific purpose and the same purpose has continued after the re-build.

I'll admit to white boiler suits, whistles and Vicks face masks. Spent most of my time in De Ja Vu/Heaven/Industria (pre Union St Cathouse) with the monthly foray to the all-nighter in the Plaza. The Cathouse still has the Industria doors on it IIRC.

I read a story once, whether true or not I don't know, about a wee wummin cleaning hubbies sailing boat somewhere in Castlemilk. During her dusting she bumped the EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Rescue Beacon) on and the next thing she realised there was a Sea-King hovering 30 foot above her dr...

It's been happening about here as well. I've noticed a dozen or so just in my area (Hillpark/Mansewood). I've also considered having an "accident" down one

The Tartan Army usually get invited by other countries FA's to follow thier team. Dunno who's asked them (and who they decided upon) this time. Euro '04 was Denmark.

Somehow don't think that would happen with our "friends" down South supporters!
