Re: Smudge, People's Palace cat

This was the first time I had heard about Smudge! If you do a quick Google there's an article about her published in an Ohio newspaper from 1988 - she truly was an international phenomenon!

Re: Guess the connection...

Hmmm... is it something to do with the legs? They seem to be quite ornate up until a point where you would think they had been extended up to support the roof. Did they come from another bandstand in Glasgow?

Re: Guess the connection...

Did the bandstand once stand somewhere in Glasgow and was then moved to Dumfries and Galloway?

The Inn On The Green

I was reading in Urban Realm that Holiday Inn have submitted plans to Glasgow City Council for a 112 bed hotel on the site of 'The Inn On The Green' at Glasgow Green. Re: Demolition at Templeton's

Just found this thread by accident and thought I'd post an update on how the place looks now. I guess it's a matter of opinion on how you think the building has blended into the landscape - but I can say that the views over the city from the window as the sun sets are awesome! :P http://farm9.static...

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hello Everybody! I've been lingering on the forum for a while now as a guest but thought it was about time I registered and said hello! I was a member many moons ago when I was young and daft - believe I ended up getting myself banned over an argument about computers, of all things, but hopefully no...
