We were walking along past the Clutha today and my missus commented on the railway bridge that crosses the Clyde by the old Briggat seems to have been painted recently and in good condition. She said pity that wasn't open for pedestrians or cyclists etc. I thought surely it cannot have any track or ...

New Lidl's Houses and demolition

Some new proposals for Yoker/Clydebank area. A new Lidl's store behind the Lovat pub with entrance from Mill road. Also new housing on old SSEB site beside Yoker bowling club. Proposed demolition of flats in area of Newshot crt overlooking Yoker railway station.

Dont know about famous but saw Jim Murphy in Sauchiehall street last week. The missus had to hold me back from booting him in the baws. Also saw Limmy recently in Firebird think it may be his local.
