maybe the rose tinted glasses were on when reminicing of the the tenement memories of my youth ,my ma & da probably had the same issues you point out ,but I was a wean ,no rent or rates to worry about ,no doubt my parents had a hard time bringing up my 4 brothers and me in a 2 room & kitche...

Is there maps or guides available for The Necropolis?Would like to know a bit about the people buried here before going. Pick up a guide leaflet at the the St Mungo Museum. Alternatively, ask somebody here nicely and you'll get a guided tour...probably. Cheers mate.Going on the tour on Saturday. 8)
