Duke of Edinburgh award/Orienteering club in Glasgow

Anyone involved, or know how to get involved in either of these?

Did my DoE to Silver before, and really want to get back and finish it soon.

Any info appreciated. Ta.

Walmer crescent is in a terrible state. SOme of it's burnt out, the rest is basically a midden.

Rubbish bags everywhere, and general disrepair.

I can tolerate Students. I was more referring to the be-shirted ned wearing sporting the ubiquitous 'pint of brycreem' hairdo.

Lack of originality on their part perhaps?

I don't think it was planned that way as much sa it just evolved. Of course houses would become cheaper if they where smothered in smoke, thus making them more affordable to the working classes.

Campus represents the worst of generic, bland, themed 'chain' pubs/clubs. Closely seconded by Jumpin Jacks.

Why do these places appeal to the brainless idiot clubber?

Right, my reason for not coming is chiefly that I live in Spain. (Soon to be rectified by my returning to Glsagow however....) Another reason is I'm mainly a voyeur on here. Can't really post from work, so prefer just to watch you lot do it instead. I've been to plenty nights out, football matches, ...

As per the original topic, Yes, Spammers should be castrated. AS should people who write spyware and adware programmes.

In fact, they should be burnt at the stake.

I was taught that it was due to the prevailing weather in the UK. That is to say our weather arrives from the Atlantic and travels over Britain in an easterly direction, thus blowing the smoke and pollution from industry over the East End of the city. The sunlight idea is also logical enough, given ...
