Using other painkillers could have a worse effect upon the liver, with more sedative and greater side effects. So for maximum analgesi...

Re: One for the railway heads

Large logo on a unit? You'd never get it between the windows :)

With first and northern and scotrail all going for blue base coats and Virgin and East coast going for silver base coats, looks like a largely two-tone railway in Scotland

Re: Parking Charges

I note today that the city centre parking ticket machines are charging for sunday - a day on which you don't have to pay. It used to be that if you put money in after 1800 Saturday it was counted for parking from 0800 Monday. Now the machine takes your money on a sunday and charges as if you have to...

Re: Subway today

SPT approving this is like me approving my own request for a £10million investment in my flat and a fancy new car. It won;t happen without someone else funding it.....

Mind last night I had a 15 min wait for a train on inner circle. No idea how much I missed the last one by!

Re: River Festival & Proms in the Park 2010-CANCELLED !!

Proms in the park could go ahead with a commercial sponsor taking the role of city council/public purse - as Bank Of Scotland with Edinburgh Festival Fireworks. On the other hand, if they go to another scottish city, ( BBC like to ahve an outdoor showing in London, North of Engaldn, Wales and Scotla...

Re: Highly Paid GCC Executives

Rowan Williams is a bigot. But if one reads his full speech what he said was that a church cannot be effective in its public works if it has uncleared 'issues' - the issues persist only because of a cover up. If the Irish Bishops & Archbishops etc had been more one 20, 10, 5 years ago, then the...

Re: Dear Itchy Bawbag

Lawyers - what a ignoramous this guy is - get an apology - verbal and in front of lots of TV crews; demand free BT calls and top level broadband for 5 years then forget about it. This is how parasitic scum (lawyers) get so much money and why the country loses so much money!

Re: Customer Claims Ltd

BBC Radio 4 Money Box had a feature on a welsh company similar last week and had a call from someone who had paid £2k to a Perth company to get rid of her £30k debts, they ran off.

If it looks too good to be true, it is!

Re: Stranraer and Stena Line

AIUI due to the current rail route being a big inland loop, it would be easier/quicker to run a bus to Girvan. this would prejudice the Stranraer-Girvan part of the service (few passengers, same operating costs) and should they wish to boost the Girvan-Glasgow service to meet most boats then more in...
