Passion Play Oct 6th

Couldnt find anything about this on site .
I made a video from the Council webcams of the build up, play and strip down of Geroge Square for the Passion Play last week.

There is a test of the lights about half way through which is not the show, then 2 shows on the 6th by the looks of it.

Re: 'Time machine' pubs

I also talked with an long serving landlord about the red painted parts i mentioned earlier. He half jokingly said it was that way because thats what could be nicked from the Shipyards back in the day and the style stuck. Going along with that i recently read that all the American Mid Western barns ...

Re: 'Time machine' pubs

Split level Bars . Dowanhill, Pot Still, Intermezzo ? Others ? The Press Bar has a wee raised level bit at the back, doesn't it? Yes it does but i was thinking more in terms of a decent set of stairs to get to the other area. The State has a raised bit as well and Blackfriars, and quite a few other...

It looks like Stanley Baxter for some reason. I am sorry if it is really a woman.

Re: Glasgows Cobbled Streets and Lanes

I was under the impression that within the next couple of years they were going to flatten that corner. Interesting to see that at least one of the buildings is maybe listed. Old College Bar going away . I also think the Lamp Post just down Duke Street is scheduled as well . I dont know if it means ...

Re: M74 Extension goes ahead

I dont know what you are trying to say here but the downloadable pdf linked on that page has all of that. The page itself is just text but if you actually look at the file i mentioned it has all of that. It's not quite the same without the maps, illustations and photos is it? http://i244.photobucket...

Re: Kelvinhaugh Street - Car Showroom

The matching design could not have had a rounded corner to refer to the street corner and other gushets.
The building where the Goat is has this snub nose design and it does not look as good as the rounded original.

Re: One for the railway heads

It's quite easy knowing what the fare is when you have to shove the exact change into the slot on the bus and and when you buy your Oyster card and see half of that amount deducted when you swipe it on the same bus and the same journey next time you're on board. You swipe for each part of your jour...
